Description
This is again the Australian Green Tree Frog, when I took the shot I thought it could be the magnificent green tree frog who are close relatives , but they distinguish by swollen 'boss' on top of his head, and this frog doesn't have it, I took this picture at Wildlife Sydney sanctuary in Darling Harbour, and all the frogs are together, so you have to figure who is who.
The Green Tree Frog population, like many frogs, has also suffered a decline over recent years. The species is long-lived and can live for over 20 years. Because of this longevity the population decline went unnoticed for several years. Adults are still seen and heard regularly but young frogs are becoming scarce.
Adult frogs measure 12cm.
