St Mary's Cathedral in Sydney has aisle on either side, which serve to buttress the nave and provide passage around the interior.
The side aisles are vaulted in stone, with a large round boss at the centre of each ribbed vault.
On the wall on the right are half of paintings of Stations of the cross. In the left aisle is the other half of the paintings.
