I only had 2 days in Dubbo Zoo, so on second day driving past the horses (its about 5 km drive trough the whole Zoo and there is parking near each section) and I was in the car, picked up my camera, stopped and took few shots , upset few people behind me, but I didn't care, wanted the shots and was still to far from the next park bay. It was worth it. :) You can also hire bicycles to go through the Zoo if you wish ! But its too large to walk, animals have big spaces to run.
