Riia Talve was born in Vancouver BC, Canada. At four months premature she was 1.13 ounces and lived in a incubator for her first six months of life. At a young age she started to struggle and found that drawing, painting and taking photos helped her cope. At age 15 she was diagnosed with obsessive compulsive disorder and still used art to cope.
