The Praying Mantis:
This anthropod, classified by having an exoskeleton, segmented body, and jointed appendages, is the hunter of other insects. It uses it's front legs to capture prey and hold it while it consumes it. It can rotate it's head 180 degrees to scan for prey with two large compound eyes and three other simple eyes. The female sometimes eats her mate during or after breeding leaving them known as the Femme fatale of the insect world.
