I probably will NOT purchase from this site again. The quality of the puzzle was just okay, for example there were many pieces where the backing was delaminating. (See 2 photos) Additionally, the size was advertised as 20" x 28". The finished puzzle size was actually 19-5/8" x 26-1/8". I feel that skimping on the size resulted in the face of the bottom kitty being half obscured when framed. This is the most I've ever paid for a puzzle that I expected to be perfect. (I could only select 1 photo. Please email me if you want photos of puzzle pieces delaminating.)

I haven't done the puzzle yet but I was very pleased with the speed it was sent. The puzzle itself is brilliant I only wish I were able to find Linda Carruth's puzzles in England

I love the puzzle as I live in Shingletown. It was very difficult! But the letters that say "Gateway To Lassen" are CUT OFF it only shows part of the quotes. 🤦♀️ So disappointing! ☹ *See attached image.
Sometimes autumn, when you're out in the country expecting to enjoy the glory of brilliant leaves and golden fields at their most colorful, can turn into a disappointment. You might find yourself driving the country roads on a day when the clouds have taken over and the light becomes dim and hushed. Even the most picturesque scenes can lose their punch on days like that.
But the earth-tones and dull light can have a simple magic all their own. The coming-on of winter can herald many contrary thoughts and feelings ... of endings ... of goings ... but also of cookies baking in the oven and warm fireplaces lit for the first time after the stuffy heat of summer.
It's all about the light for many of us ... but sometimes the more somber tones of the coming-on of winter can be beautiful, too.
This image was actually inspired by a couple of songs from Joni Mitchell ... "Urge For Going" and "River" ... both of which have been playing in my head for days.

Welcome! I"m a photographer and digital artist living in the Mid-Atlantic area of the US. Drawing and creating my own little sketchy worlds are some of my earliest memories. Life did what it does and the art fell away, but I reconnected when digital photography was introduced. I enjoy adding to my love of photography by tinkering with computer art programs including Photoshop, Corel Painter, Rebelle and others , though I do not use Ai / Artificial Intelligence. I also love working completely freehand with no photo reference involved. All of which is allowing me to circle back to a semblance of my days of sketching and painting traditionally. Please be aware that we are currently experiencing a glitch in our system. The images in...

Susan Buscho
Very lovely - great usage of filters.
Lois Bryan replied:
Thanks so much, Susan!! This was not created with filters ... I hand-paint, digitally in Corel Painter, using my own, original photographic images (as in not from stock sources), as inspiration. It's lots of fun!!
