I paint or photograph autumn so much that I often am lost for words as to what to say about a work and it's content - most of the time the artwork is inspired by something I really enjoy and autumn - fall are one of those something's, so I'll leave the painting with the beautiful words of a famous song most will know in both french and english, because I usually sang it in french.

The falling leaves drift by the window
The autumn leaves of red and gold
I see your lips, the summer kisses
The sun-burned hands I used to hold
Since you went away the days grow long
And soon I'll hear old winter's song
But I miss you most of all my darling
When autumn leaves start to fall
C'est une chanson, qui nous ressemble
Toi tu m'aimais et je t'aimais
Nous vivions tous, les deux ensemble
