Originally from Southern Ontario, Jane Dickson is a mixed media artist who loves the process of intuitive painting. This method of painting without a plan allows her imagination to run wild and invites the spontaneous unfolding of these surreal stories.
By not censoring what shows up, her paintings become portals to non-ordinary realms. Perhaps unveiling these mystical worlds can serve to remind us of our own mysterious nature, and tempt us to dream of the possibilities and potential we all possess.
Jane currently lives on the prairies of Alberta in Canada, where she continues to enjoy her studio practice and offer intuitive painting playshops.
